Hi there can any one help, Your help will be much apprisiated!
For a while my car has been making a wining noise but i wasnt to woried, but suddernly it has turned it to a really bad knocking noise it is my gearbox and im sure it is the bearings giving way, so im on the hut for a new gearbox, in my haynes manual it says there are to gearboxes and depending on age which one i have, My car is a 1997 (P rej) 1.3 GX What age gearbox should i be looking at from a scrapheap and how long would it take 2 do what are they like to do on the micra? they easer or harder than most cars? and does any one know of any good scrapheaps around the cheshire, stoke, manchester, north wales area?
