Downpipe/exhaust help please!

My K10's mot is due in May so I'm starting to get it ready for the test. I noticed on my down pipe there is a gap on one side between the down pipe and the manifold (picture shamelessly stolen!)

Both of the nuts are on the threads but one will not wind all the way up the thread thus closing the gap on the side where it is! Is it a case of replacing both the bolts (if that's what they are?) and nuts.

Thanks for any help :grinning:

fixed the pic ;)

just replace the lost nute ;)

Cheers for fixing the picture (Y) but I used the image as a reference to illiterate my problem. Mine has both of the nuts on but one Will not wind all the way up the thread thus creating a gap like the picture.Any ideas? :p

surley it means the thread on the bolt or inside the nut has gone, replace each one to see what happens.

get a die and clean the thread up with it. then you should be able to wind the nut right up.
otherwise you could replace the stud. (looks like one is alot shorter that the other in the picture??
