what are some engines people typically fit into their k11? I want to do a sr20det conversion but hears it's a lot of trouble with getting it to fit right and I want it to be road legal so I don't wanna touch the chassis at all, anyone any recommendations of how I could fit it in or any other conversions that'd be just as powerful?

Where are you from? Road legal requirements will vary between countries, because of your username I've the suspicion you're from Australia...

Then I guess you're on UK rules so the Sr20 conversions round here can give you an idea. Cairns is a city in North Queensland btw.
If you are prepared to get custom driveshafts made I think a ga fits without cutting the rails, other options are electric water pump.

Where could I get a custom one made and have you a rough idea of the pricing of it? I wanna go through with the sr20 conversion unless I absolutely cannot afford it
