Clutch Fitted

Well i had the task of fitting a new clutch (Well it was mostly my dad but meh ;)). It was a ##### to get to. Everything was seized; the driveshaft, the gearbox were the worst :mad:

two hours well spent in the end :)

thats one thing off the list.

now....where did i leave my welder.....?
 
How did you remove the shafts?

Did you undo the suspension struts and give them a yank?

Yup. They were canny hard to pull out like, but got there in the end

Its an LUK, so yeah genuine repalcament. it was around the £45 mark
 
sorry to bring this thread back from the dead...but......and its big......how did you take the gearbox out?.....and do you have any more detail....as my clutch is making the loudest whine you ever heard and slipps badly between gear shifts........(i know i know, i shoud have changed it about 1000miles ago...lol)
