Clutch cable snapped

hi all, my clutch cable has snapped at the plastic bracket on the pedal, am I able to get another of the brackets or is there a stronger way of fixing this problem?

yep the riveted end pins of the cable are quite a weak point. replaced mine with nut & bolt

in most cases why the ends sheer off under high strain is cos the cable has dried up n the huge friction eventually wrecks the whole clutch system.
I hugely recommend taking out the clutch cable and relube it with thin oil like wd40 anually to keep it sliding freely.

if ever the clutch gets really heavy over time (especially with heavy pressure plates), don't ignore it cos the worse case is this will happen (again was caused by sticky cable)

careful on the oil down the cable ,it could turn into a cutting agent helping the wire cut the plastic sheath around it. use the right lube

All fixed now I've pinched the cable of my 92 plate k11 in the garage :p for some unknown reason the facelift that I use as my daily uses a plastic clip instead of metal haha
