Hi,

i was driving off the lights and when i tried to change into 2nd gear, my clutch would not spring back up.

Stopped at the side of the road. Used my finger to flick the clutch paddle up and depressed it again....it feels like there was nothing griping onto my clutch paddle.

Is the clutch cable snapped or is it another problem.

Please advise..thanks.

ps. when i tried pulling the cable from under the bonnet(engine bay) the cable doesnt come out.

either the little riveted pin that the clutch arm hooks onto or the adjustable end thumbscrew at the end of the cable has broken off (cable end bracket would appear separated from the clutch arm) or the cable's snapped (bracket still connected to arm but cable's snapped internally) or the cable's slipped off the pedal hook
