cam timing by degrees !

hi can anyone tell me what the cam timing in degrees is for a 1ltr k11 after the head being skimming ?

stock 1.0 cams are 196 deg iirc 16/0/0/16, but it will depend on how much was skimmed and milage/wear in the chains

hi is that 196 deg inlet and exhaust also what does 16/0/0/16 mean thanks, only timed in mini cams before 25 thou off head can you change the timeing to get more power ie move exhaust cam or inlet cam thanks john:grinning:

the inlet closes 16 deg after bottom dead centre, and the exh opens 16 deg before bdc, and the overlap is zero.
1.3 cams are better tbh 42/0/0/42 with 2mm more lift and you,re probably best to just correct the headskim and chainwear, and advance them to the stock timings
