Bigger engine conversions

Sorry if this is the wrong section or its been covered to death but has anybody successfully converted or seen a bigger lump go into a micra?

I've been thinking of a project for next year, and if it isn't too hard or expensive maybe sticking an Almera 2.0 GTi engine or maybe just a 1.6 into a micra.

Any information, experienced opinions or links to help would be appreciated.
