2 questions??

Hi

1. I Crashed my micra, the front lower crossmember has a dent in it will it fail MOT?
2. i have little money any ways to make faster and better handling for little or no money?

Reduced weight already stripped boot and back seats and any plastic pannles i dont need
have new mushroom air filter and decat exhaust

want to lower but want more than 35 mm so looking for 50mm drop springs

If you crashed it, last thing I recommend you do is try to make it faster.

Unsure on the dent in the crossmember, it shouldn't affect MOT but might depend on the tester?

Not much you can do for little or no money except make fast vroom vroom noises.

its wasnt a bad crash was just hit some ice and bumped a bush at 40 but yeah i need more grip and lowness also can you advise me of good upgrades to save up for like most bang for buck?

Cant you straighten it out with a tow rope and another car

Towrope and lamppost works well in my experience.

thats much more likely to lead to an MOT fail. if its just dented then it shouldnt be such a problem, but if you pull it out forcibly, you risk cracking the metal, leaving you with a rusting crossmember.

anyways, the mushroom filter is a good goer. you should take the back box off next, to equalise the breathing on intake and exhaust. after that, you can get fuel pressure regulators for £30.
