I'm currently in some turmoil about what size 15"s I might put on some wheels. And have come to the conclusion that 145/65's 155/60's have too much side wall and am resigned to the fact that it will have to be 165/50 or even 165/45 which would look good on your 7"s.

totaly would not go 155, you will have epic problems with cornering etc. 165 is as small as i would go tbh even then some wheels dont seal properly with them on. 185/45s are very nice

:) Markbognor said `165/50 or even 165/45 which would look good on your 7"s.` what is 7 ? cause i seem to have a problem with sizing i mean i do have 165/50 but R14 which rims should I have to make this loo good with out lowering springs ? please HELP !!!

emmmm germany .... http://www.eiretyres.com/

Sorry :) I do have 165/60 R14 H75.... :(

Any ideas what to fit in them so they look goood :) i mean rims !!! :) !!! You C I do not want to put any fancy shiny alloys. Want to keep it simple and practical...any ideas?

KarlJ just to make it straight forward :) 7`` as a size off the alloy ?

I do have spare 15`` alloys but that is size of hight not width right ? I do not get it :( :( :(

Ok for purposes of enlightenment I'm running:

13"x5.5" wheels on the front with 175/60 r13 tyres

13"x7" wheels on rear with 175/60 r13 tyres

On the front the tyres balloon out past the rim face whereas the rears have a little bit of stretch ideally on the front I'd want to run a tyre with a width of 165 and on the rear 185

Does this help with your understanding of tyre widths
