Porks bike carbs and boost project

Boom. simples.

But then it's messing about with ball joints. :(

All I'm doing with the shaft is repositioning where the little clips go , not really messing about with the strength of the shaft
But you are moving the bearing slowly off the splines... so you're running on less spline... reducing strength?

Ball joints really isnt that bad
Interference fit... swap ? :/

Only want what's best and safest for you :)

Aaah but where I'm positioning it, it's still fully on the spline :)

Besides this costs nothing, and I threw away the k10 wishbones so would have to buy new pair

Great improvement so far !! Jus need to do other side now lol

Still at standard ride height but after I've done other shaft, il drop it down again and see what happens :)

It's a bit milder today so they are behaving really well lol don't like the cold weather, then again who does

Me lol. Try blocking off part of the intercooler next time it gets chilly see if that helps, will give slightly warmer air which'll be thinner, richening up the mixture :)

Lol I'm hardly precise!

This is how I had it all sitting whist trying to clamp the little clip on shaft to weld it

Haha , there's always somthing

Gunna tackle rest of exhaust next I think

In 2 minds whether to do myself, parts alone gunna cost. £190 +,
And I don't have ramps :( bastards stole them from drive the other night!

Or, get one made, spoke to longlife in Stevenage and they quoted me £350 over the phone for a full stainless setup, which ain't bad

Unless someone knows of a custom place near luton

So might treat myself to a Xmas present as I really can't be arsed to build it myself

I have seen these, with everything I want, complete system, mud silencer, back box etc, it's in the £190-200 range :(

Il never get it right either trying to do it all on jacks outside.

Hahah, oh yea

Source softer springs

There was a steering wheel from another nissan that fits, think it's from a 200sx or something, maybe someone can remind me
Jus need something chunkier, the skinny k10 wheel is ****e!

Went to long life to get quote and they stuck at £350 all in, so gunna try find somewhere cheaper, then play them off against each other and sse how cheap I can get it

That's a plan ;)

Springs are easy to find :) its finding the right spring rates that's the key

I scrapped my steering wheel for a proper suede one

Sounds expensive :/

i doubt if the springs are the culprit neil, my corsa coilies had dampers that were set for "track" and non adjustable, and thats what was giving the harsh ride.
and my side exit is embarrassingly quiet :( (with the current turbo)

You got any pics mate of your exhaust setup?

Cool :)

I will have another look at doing it myself, jus an effort

The outlet on my turbo is 2.5 inch, is it ok to go smaller, or stick with the outlet size

boy suicidal ,,,,,,them corsa ones boy on bout are shtiff damper? erm nope just wear pamper :)

softer spring may get em looser eventually ?

My front polo coilovers are a little over sprung, but the shock setting is about right imo, never felt crashy just very firm.
