Porks bike carbs and boost project

Can't really as I never found out what turbo mine was !?!

But it's a td04 with the right flange so it's the sort if thing I'm after

Jus ordered LC-1 :)

Hmmm, not sure what to do about this tubby tho. Don't wanna make a costly mistake
Think the wideband is defo vital! As I say, I'm pretty sure saab use low pressure turbo's, more to boost low/midrange rather than out and out performance so I reckon it'll be sound. Ffs dont buy it on my say so though!! lol

Well it's defo needed. Gotta know what's going in with this fuel.

Aaarrrrrggghh.

To buy or not to buy turbo, that is the question

Bouncing around wikipedia and Saab spec sites it appears that it will be off a B205E engined saab (150hp) and will probably use the lpt, boosting at 0.40 bar (5.8 psi)
Dont take this as gospel though, just trying to help a brother out! lol ;)

a 2.0 petrol tubby is gonna be pretty big neil, 2.0 diesel tubby,s tend to be about 2/3rds the size eh (and more suited to a 1.2 petrol tbh)

The quick start up guide is quiet good mate, by the end of it you'll have:

One switched live (Red made up of the main power wire and the red wire of the LED)
One (yellow) signal wire to the ECU (which you can just tape up if your not usuing it)
One earth thats a combination of 5 wires you solder togeather if i remember right :)

thats not bad, i paid over £200 for mine 18 months ago maybe a bit more, still unised and unopened in the box lol, but im keeping it no way im standing to loose £70-80 on it haha

Got bored waiting for stuff to be delivered and had a rethink,

So done this today,

Still got some more grinding to do, it's A LOT lighter than the other manifold, and less places for cracks to form with my novice welding.

C'mon turbo, should of been here today :(

Need it so I can make exhaust so I can plug this wideband kit in and see what the crack is with the fuel

Thanks :D

Get a welder mate, I find its quite addictive, and wanna weld everything in sight!
I have to stop myself breaking things so I can weld them back up
