Just got around to trying it out. Fresh install on amd 6000,2gb ram. I am really really impressed. Fast boot, fast shutdown, looks great.

Anyone else given it a whirl??

youcan get a genuine copy on BETA test from Microsoft with a genuine key, we are running tests with VM at work atm and its sooo much better than vista.

yeah its quite snappy to use compared to vista.
i love the new aero features ie dragging a window to the top of the screen and it maximises etc (jury still out on the taskbar dock).
i hate the new system tray pop up thing aswell
