despite bookmarking i havent had much time recently to follow the thread and feel a bit err lazy to back track... wanted to ask:
are you connecting to the ecu? with say that nissan software so you can monitor all the other 'stuff' and have quick diagnostics - not just music, video capability? no doubt youve probably already thought of it right? ace.

The plan at the moment is not to worry with connecting to the ECU, although the idea is not out of the question.
The next step is just going to tidy up the monitor connections, install a DVD-ROM drive and just basically keep it running.
With a PC in the car I do have a number of possible options in which I can go, including GPS, connecting to Nissan ECU, connecting to Piggy-Back ECU (IE E-Manage), I could even wire all of the electrical systems into the computer and run them through there, although that ain't happening! I'm open to ideas of what to do with it!!!
