Does anyone know where to get white dials for a 94 super s, I have sen them on other cars but never a micra, Does anyone know if they do them for a micra, They look awesome when on!! Make it look updated!

the white dials were a nismo option and are VERY rare! i have never seen a set in real life. you are better off gettin them custom made, there are lots of companies that can do custom dials, i bet people would be up for a group buy ;)
 
I notice SAM1113001 has got white dials in his, Bet they are cheaper and easy to get hold of over there, Maybe Sam and tttt640702 could also help source some parts for us!!!! There Cars look GREAT!!! and They have saloons cabrio, estate 4x4 and i have heard you can get a coupe!!!

Please can you get us some parts from Taiwain

those dials are in KMs and are also for NCVT getthing them isn't hard, getting them for the uk is...
 
I have a rev counter and Temp / Fuel gauge in white, but no speedo. Left over from the NME Parts I brought. They used these gauges in the street car Micra. If they are that rare I will dig them out and have a look. Perhaps someone would like to make me an offer.

damn someone beat me to it. so these are out of the NME car? can you get the nismo ones? nismo did ones for JDM but i haven't seen any for sale, just in nismo cataloges
 
Spoke to lockwood!! They Said there SUPPLIER DOES NOT HAVE ANYTHING SUITABLE!!!!!

Why do places like that never do anything for Micras!!

They do them for chavs with CORSA, SAXO, ESCORTS ETC!!!

The dials are genuine Nissan parts and they cost over £340.00 + vat. The pair I had have been sold but I'm trying to get a price from Nismo in Japan on some more. We will just have to wait and see how much they cost.

been working for a while on dials for the micra: finding the best medium to print on is a pain but getting there, heres a sample of my practise stuff.

The dials from Matt arrived today they are very nice, just gotta source a white speedo to go with.

They are nice though, you could't scan these as they aren't just faciers they are the whole units.

well if its not resized heres some i did earlier save image and print in windows xp photo print wizard use top a4 page and they will print off correct size

Yeah the blue one has one not sure whats its from though? i may use that one i'll have to take a butchers at it. See if thats the one i want or if i like it in the 2 litre?

i have my sources ;)

i was gonna order some right now, but i left my card at home damn it!!!

they are about £50ish, but i am sure we could save on postage.

i just thought i would order a set up first to see if they are any good.

scratch that i just bought some :D
 
just contacted them about a group buy and if any MPH dials are avalible, we will see what they say.

how many people want them?
 
might fit in a facelift cluster ;) or just convert to prefacelift, that wouldn't be too hard :D

new plan, i will be making my own, i am gonna try making some up and see how they come out. this way i will be able to do face lift dials too,

i think they will cost about £30? anyone willing to pay that for white dials?

also i have some interesting ideas in how to light them so watch this space ;)

how much would they be? and what colour would they light up?
 
theres a guy i bought some off for the vectra-
all it was were HD colour copy onto photo paper - cut out and there you go

you can do a reverse negative copy ie black into white?

for those on a budget and quite frankly i doubt anyone would notice the difference-so take off your own dials off and photo paper copy !!

i tried that, but they don't sit flat, they curl up and foul the needles.

lol well first of all any kind of glue has to be thin or the dial ripples, it also distorts the light that shines through, so you can see the shapes in the glue. and also the lights cause the glue to melt. its easier if the printed dial is just thick enough to lie flat by itself.
 
hey guys....just askin ok.. what are my chances of getting the template to a sticker shop and ask him to print them out for me.. rather than buy them for that ridiculous price? or might I print them myself on photo gloss paper?

but am sure if I do print them out myself... the measuremnts would goo to far from actual sizes... I never manage to print the desired size... dumb ME!
 
Remember that light has to come through them aswell, and they have to stick cleanly. Even though this thread is a year and a half old, I remember Nex did end up making some I believe, so he's the best person to go about this.
