VW Polo alloys

Might be a stupid question, but I'm still new to the Micra.
Will VW polo alloys fit straight on to a K11 pre-facelift? I know the pcd is the same.

if its the same ammount of holes then yes should do

I counted the holes and they were about the same:glare:

More concerned about the central hole and possibly the offset

shuld be fine ive got a set of 4x100 audi wheels to go on same pcd as polos

Micra k11 PCD = 4x100 Offset = 35-45 Bore = 59.1
polo PCD = 4x100 Offset = 35-42 Bore = 57.1

basicly u will need to bore the centre of the polo wheels out i did on my corsa wheels (56.6)

NO, what ever you do dont just file them, there is no way on this planet that you can file them right, the centre bore is there to surve a purpose and that purpose is to centre the wheel, so please do not just file it.

superls is correct the wheel would then be unbalanced and uncentral id say buy other wheels as its not cheap to bore them out

You could file the wheel bigger than the hub-flange, the wheel nuts will centre the wheel, but you won't benefit from the support the flange gives to the wheel, although I suspect most alloy wheels will also have a centre bore bigger than the hub-flange anyway.

It's a bodge... but would work.

The wheels are dirt cheap anyway and besides I can probably get my bro-in-law to bore the wheel centres if I do have a problem.

yes, most old cars had no centre location, hence the tapered nut design
