and regarding cyl # 3 maybe reducing the quench step near the inlet valves would delay the det spot ? or maybe just remove some metal from the combustion chamber to drop the C/R on that one pot ?

its got the weldfilled and 2 mm skimmed head on tho karl, and piper inlet cam etc
and that engine will be going into the blue car soon (no rev limiter on lpg eh :grinning
