Tax Query

Hey guys

I know i posted this thread last year but can't find it. Done a search etc. Anyway. My tax is due but i haven't received the document through the post - again. What do i need to take to the post office with me to renew my tax? is it Insurance certificate, MOT and V5? I don't fancy queuing forever to find im missing something.

Ys, insurance, MOT, V5, money is all you need - do it online, it's much less hasle

I did it online this year. Very simple, very quick, disc arrived less than 24hrs later! It is easier if you've been sent the document thru the post, but you can do it without that.

Do it online. I know last year you said it wouldn't let you, but just bring your MOT certificate to mine this weekend and i'll help you

It doesn't let me do it online, but i have a feeling that's because my tax & mot expire on the same day. You can't get tax without a valid MOT so probably related to that.

The MOT is about to expire which is why i can't get tax on it! I tried that at the post office last year and they said no, it has to be valid for a month or more.

Should have learnt from last year! Will be ok if my car passes it's MOT. Can't see why it wouldnt
