Suspension Kit for March/Micra

Hi, I've a '98 March for which I'm about to get new wheels and I was hoping to drop the car a bit and improve the suspension while I was at it. (It was my first car and I have it 12 years now and aim to keep it forever)

These are two kits I was looking at on europeperformance.co.uk and would appreciate people's advice or suggestions on these or other kits. Now I don't want a rock solid car as its only a micra but something sporty (I'll probably put a strut brace on too).

This kit looks decent enough but has original length shocks on lowered springs so will that cause problems?

This kit seems ok but a bit pricy. Is it worth spending that much....I'll only be doing around 6 to 10 k miles a year max, could be less as its a second car.

Bear in mind I don't want it too low as it causes problems and the NCT test (MOT equivalent) is strict enough. And I don't want it too hard/uncomfortable to drive.

I put in Monroe Gas shocks and left on the original springs about 11 years ago as the original shocks were so soft but I want to improve it more now.
