suspension kit... gmax, bilstein, koni

Hi, I'm going to upgrade my car with new shocks and springs, so i was looking for some kits

on the internet i found 2 kits (there was a third kit by weitec, but now it is unavailable)

gmax

bilstein streetline

the second one has normal b4 oem shocks - i'm sure cuz i looked the item code - (so i think they are 15% harder but the piston has the same lenght of the standard one), and lowered and harder springs... anyway i read of some people in my country that was happy with this choice (i have to say that for me in Italy it's less expensive buying shocks and spingrs separately instead of buying the complete kit on that shop)

the first one, if I'm right, has both shocks and springs lowered and harder, but I don't know anything about "gmax" brand

the third option is to buy 4 yellow adjustable koni sport, but they are a bit too expensive for my coats...

so, can u give me suggestions or, better, reports, especially about the gmax kit?

thanks in advance and sorry again for my poor english

p.s. can u tell me where can i look for an adjustable panhard rod, apart from rallynuts where it is sold at 80£? months ago it was sold at 64£ on demon tweeks, now it's not on the list...

hey i have the bilstein streetline kit on mine here, check my blog for details.

the progressive apex springs has a good balance of comfort during cruise & street bumps and stiffness during fast road cornering. totally transformed car from jelly stock suspension to almost a gokart. virtually eliminated any pitch roll during acc/braking and coupled with whiteline swaybar gave more predictable confidence in corners.

tyres have a big influence too. recently moved from the slippery wobbly 175/70/13 to these 195/50/15 toyo t1r and this setup simply grips hard now

just took to rockingham & oulton park and was real fun. the bilstein held up great but felt under very hard braking/cornering the rear would lift too high and be abit squabbly even with abs, hence i'll be fitting some BC coilovers soon

but for daily driving they're great(Y)

check matt humphris in oxford for various performance micra bits
