ST / MA12 radiator plug

Hi

just came to the ST today and found some coolant on the floor, had a quick look about and noticed the radiator drain plug was loose, so i tried to tighten it and as i touched it, the handle part fell off and the rest remained inplace, now i dont think i can get another so i might have to make one, im not going to drive it like that

If not get the remainder out, check thread size and stick a bolt in with a copper or dowty washer

looks exactly the same as the ma12 one. but for a fiver delivered to your door its hardly worth the trip down to the scrappers.

p.s. a copper washer would be no good as you wouldnt be able tighten it enough the compress it.

i have bought one and also made one at work as a spare its a 1.25 pitch thread incase anyone wanted to know
