Squirreling noise while idle/driving

IRNBROO kindly had a look but couldnt think of anything, did mention it sounds like metal on metal =/

Sitting idle it sometimes ( key word) makes a squirreling noise also does it more often when im driving but its really noticable when i use clutch control :L

Other times its fine, at first i though it was G/Box issue or clutch but im now leaning towards the exhaust rubbing on something as the exhaust rattle increases when i clutch it aswell


Any other possible Suggestions?

check exhaust hangers arn't broken/breaking

Ill have a look bud cheers, i'd prefer to find the probelm and fix it while it's small, rather than leave it and it get worse/bigger

So any suggestions welcome

Sounds like a clutch release bearing to me? Does it normally make the noise when you don't have the clutch down?

yup, makes it both when clutch is engaged or disengaged

all possibles cheers guys, i removed 90% of the heatshields from the exhaust, and its deffo coming from the engine bay, off to go pull and hit everything till i feel if its loose :L
