Rust!!!!

hey i have just found a lode of rust in my sill and around my wheel arch i was wondering how i would get rid of it
i did think cut it out but then how to cover it again?

if you cover it it will come back through! the best way to ridd of it is as you say cut it out, and weld a plate over it.

you can scrape the paint back and get rid of lose rust, and then brush it with rust trement, it converts and give you a harder surface, hardest part is then putting the paint back on.

well not really, if you don't mind it looking ruff. Just after the rust treatment, metal primer followed by rattler tin paint followed by laquer.
Cheap and cheerful.

yea, thats what i did, i and i didnt mind it looking rought, with rust you can see it off a mile, with the paint of and rust cured, its alright, suppose you could used filler, sanded it off, but getting rust off or to stop it is first thing.

if i whanted to mold a part of baddy work likr the corner of the rear arch then what would i use ?
(chemical metal) some one sed i could use this??
