Reverse light

Strange question, but can anyone tell me the colour of the wire for the reverse light as it goes inot the cluster please?

Sorry Frank it is a 1996 1 Litre.

While you have your wiring diagrams out chaps any chance you could ID me the same from a 1993 model, and also the wire that goes to the fog light the other side. I need to join to that so that I can get my symmetrical fog lights working together. It appears having a red reverse light is about as confusing as not having one at all.

Try with voltmeter. Put negative on earth, put it in reverse, disconnect the plug and try what wire has +. That what I did when I was rewiring my UK car to JDM lights.

My reverse switch is broken, so I need to overide it, so light currently doesnt work.
