rev counter

hi
today i have just installed a rev counter into my micra that i scavenged from the scrapyard. however as it is a different car tht it is out of, the mileage is different. i
so, what i am wondering is can i transfer the bit tht has the mileage saved in it, out of the old clocks, nd into the new ones?
i have a facelift micra

it depends if its facelift or not. if its the clusters with analog mileage that there are ways how do "adjust" the mileage but i doubt you'll get any info from anybody on this site. Everything what could be potentially illegal is being stopped/locked/banned by admins for sometimes no reason.
if its the digital one i believe ive read that its stored on ECU

The digital ones stores the milage on the cluster also...

in my SLX that has three separate clusters (tacho)(speedo, analog milage)(fuel, temp) each cluster can be unbolted at the back and simply pull out from the casing. this allowed me to swap the speedo/milage cluster when i was swapping everything over between two micras
