Rear disk conversion!

Do i have to fit a rear axle that originaly had disks or can i modify one that came with drums? I realise cables and pipes have to be changed!

I beleive the whole rear axle is changed over. Try doing a search as I now it's been covered before.

If you are after some brackets to convert your normal rear axle give me a ring 01865 748000 just ask for Matthew, I might even have some callipers

There was a guy on MicraHolics who fitted ford calipers on the rear axle.

If you have access to a rear axel with discs.. just use that if the calipers are ok..

Golf rear calipers are a good fit if you want to make some custom brackets

I think any calipers would work as long as the discs that are used are 4x100 PCD, choose something with cheap discs and pads

almost... they also need a cable for the handbrake so you can only use rear ones...
