Now insured for my personal use, woohoo.
Serviced it today, slight chain rattle is completely gone, quiet on start up everything is back too how it should be.
I suppose the black crap that it was running on wasn't helping, especially as it was below the bottom of the dipstick and the amount of carbon in the rocker cover was ridiculous.

Stole the foam splitter off the escort and temporarily fitted it with double sided gorrila tape.

Wiggled my coilovers a bit and now set as low as i really dare.
Rears will be adjusted once i have my corsa shocks.

Nope i can wind coilovers down so the splitter touches the floor then they get a bit noisy on corners, i like my tyres shove off Michelins are for teh grips not teh cools.
There only 165 60 14's

I've done it before and been told to grab an axle stand...now after hearing a local guy being crushed to death by his land rover on a farm using just a jack which failed, makes me think twice..

Vehicle maintenance and repair, not an nvq, basically the paperside to it. So when I work in garage next year I don't have to go college but only assessor cones out lol
