Painting my engine

I'm going to spray my manifold red and my block blue, what else should I paint and what colour?

You can use the normal colour....I made it last winter and now is OK.

I did it on a mini and it looked sweet, anyhoo it's not for looks it's to protect.

but blue and red? I think for a manifold you'l need heat proof paint. Not sure about block, rocker cover isn't important though. Go for a nice black or silver instead of crystal palace colours!

well I have a tin of VHT paint already, just wanted to use it, might paint my calipers.

Why do you need to protect an aluminum block? They dont need protecting from anything.

ollyc98 that is where you are SO WRONG. This is DESIGNED for older cars to then have fully electronic 3D mapped ignition. (Hello bike carbs big cams, turbo with carbs etc blah blah)
