Need some sr info

i was looking at a 97 k11 SR . just wondering are these good and also should the mirrors, side rub strips and boot handle be colour coded. Has 110k miles on it. Has a sunroof. Ive no pics. Is there any faults i should look for

Standard things:

Rust around sills,
Rust around arches,
Any signs of timing chain rattle (u'll prolly get a rattle to begin with until the tensioner takes the strain)
Jack up the front of the car, wiggle the wheels for any movement in suspension, bushes, ball joints, etc.
Check for any signs of oil coming out of the shocks.
Can't think of anything more of the top of my head.

DOn't know if those bits should be colour coded, not a hard job if they're not.

110k seems a little high, but these engines can run for sometime!!

Might want to ask if the throttle body has been replaced in the cars life.

mirrors and strips should be - they are on mine. how much is that going for just out of intrest?

there is no rust in it, timing chain in my 1.0 l is a bit noisy but after 2 or 3 mins it go's out of it. The mirrors etc are colour coded, just wanted to check. Shocks are dry. Didnt check the steering though and hsvent heard the engine casuse the battery was flat as its been lying for a while. price is 300 euro

if there is no rust and it runs healthy then go for it, everything else is cheaply replacable
