J.Starr's R420 SR

check out the rear engine mount . attaches to the gear box.
Cheers R-Reg, will have look at them tomorrow morning!

Yeah, check them , I've got all 4 broken

Don't like the redstripe, but rims overall are great, they're based at Compomotive MO
Just buy the centric rings, you can check for alloy ones if you have huge disproportion in sizes. Some say they're more secure

Yeah i don't like the redstripe anymore, it was there to compliment the Red K11, but i can't take them off yet, until i give myself some refurb time, as this has started happening :/ (see pic below) but glad you like the rims!
Ahh i see, thanks Matiz, will keep that in mind!

Just whilst I'm flicking through my recent photos, I noticed I never uploaded this photo, as I've seen a few unsure people, these 'D' type fog/driving lights take this style lamp, with the push fit spade connector, a whole two seconds too swap, longest bit was removing the old rusted in Philips screws that hold them in place!

Also managed to pick up this beauty, my first camera, to take to shows and post on my Car Club instagram
Got a bit of light reading to do, as trying to figure everything out, but i think I'm getting the hang of it, will try some shots soon and see how it looks :)

Received this awesome little letter too, which i cant deny is amazing, especially after Josh used my Facebook name to its full potential ;)
Got a sweet lil' K11KREW sticker, and a much better rear wiper bung, as my other one is just a sparks 32mm grommet so it has a sink in it, but this one is perfectly smooth,
and got an awesome letter with it too!
Made my day! Thanks again Sploshua!

Since i got the driving lights working, i managed to remember tonight and got this little snap shot of them working, never been able to see so clearly in all my micra days :')

Please give me some infos.

The red Magnecor introduce improvements, or is it just aesthetic?

Thanks mate, appreciate it

Mainly aesthetic for me yes, in all honesty i haven't noticed a difference, and the only difference i have noticed hasn't been good, so I've taken them back off as they see to cause more damage

Shift lever should be easy, use some of these http://www.toolstation.com/shop/Han...ustable+Wrenches/sd90/Waterpump+Pliers/p20455
as the shift nob already on has glue in places and needs cracking :)

glad you like it :)

So yesterday was a pretty productive day, this no job lack of money thing is really getting to me, so I've now resorted to removing thing from my car instead of adding them :')
*REAR WIPER REMOVAL*
So for anyone interested on how to remove their rear wiper, as daunting as it seems, its relatively easy :)

1.Start off by removing the wiper blade & wiper arm from the exterior so that later on you can pull the motor through the back from under the backing plate! For this, lift up the flap protecting the nut and using a 12mm socket, remove the nut, the wiper may not come off straight away, as years of rust and debree could be stashed within the threads. In this case use a hammer, and lightly tap around it and wiggle the arm to help free it, use WD-40 if needed, but should come with some light tapping

13211118_10153701154787635_93992758_o.jpg

2. Open the boot, and you should be faced with the backing plate. This needs to be removed to access the motor inside. To do this, use a posi and unscrew the small black screws from the wide plugs, and lightly pull, make sure you keep all of these safe as not having one could cause a rattle and it will just be annoying.

13214880_10153701155107635_535461343_o.jpg

3. Remove the black screws only and they hold the plate which the motor is bolted too, so you don't need to remove the inner shiny bolts and split the white connectors which is the feed for the rear wipers from the stalk.

13224285_10153701154527635_221071691_o.jpg

4. Remember to keep all the bolts, as you will want to keep it all together for possible future. The motor will come out, it may take some wiggling as the motor arm is well fit inside the grommet leading outside. I noticed that over the years water has crept in and run down the inside possible cause of boot rust?

5. Remove wiper grommet with hole in, and put in place your new 32mm closed grommet, id also advise you to use a small bead of sealant on the underside to complete water proof the grommet! Tuck the wiring away, and refit the backing plate on,You should now have a de-wipered micra!

Whilst the weather was nice, i also thought i might as well sand down the open mouth grille, ready to be primed and painted black to go on the SR..
To my surprise its revealed some previous paintwork, one of which i believe to be Chris Huzzeys Minty :')
Will get some primer tomorrow and post after first coat, might need some bog as theres cracks around the cuts in the centre and its slightly lumpy, so will attempt a small repair, all expected!

Nothing major to update, just black cars upset me, clean for 5 mins, then you see everything that lands upon that freshly cleaned paintwork :/

No money now, so cant update for a while, so had a good night at the gym and then finished it off on RS3 :')

So had a little delivery, not going to put them on yet, little bit to do before the rear plate is ready to go on ;) and would rather do them in one go :)

Respect to your car. I like the 'feel like home' interior. Can you specify which exhaust this is ? I think it is perfect. not too big, not too small.
Just the appropriate ratio.

Thanks Ramzey, glad you like her!
Its a powerflow box with a 2.5'' rolled tip :)

So, a little prezzie came all the way from sweden from a good friend called Nex!
After a long search and desperate times, I've finally managed to acquire a plate recess and march k11 lights, cant wait to paint them, make the bracket to fit them and get them all working and fitted!! :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

(my cat was enjoying the awesome mail also)

So today was another eventful part collecting day, but i will update more later on with some more pictures!
i managed to pick up some very reasonably priced second hand BSR coilovers from the March Cab Man Andy S! Hour and a half each way way defiantly worth the trip, thanks mate!

So, as it goes, I've been a very busy bee recently, starting a new job and getting stuck right in, but i have managed to acquire some little touches which i think are going to sort of bring back the max power days, but I'm a newer more enjoyable way
I managed to acquire a Rep gismo front lip and rear lip from Curt M which I'm so happy with as I've wanted both for a very long time!
Ive found some skirts which I'm yet to collect but will update with pictures once i have them!

And I've made some progress on the open mouth grille!
Sadly the grill which seemed to take a long time, turned out absolutely terrible, my prep work really let me down as i got too excited and just rushed things, should have really look a lot of time getting it all smooth and ready before prime, paint and lacquer but, i have learnt from my mistake as I'm currently un-doing all progress by re sanding it down to the original white plastic its made from, along the way i spotted some history and seen some of Chris huzzeys minty i believe :')
but its given me the opportunity to make it look perfect and make me feel better about putting it on the car!
As I've said before everything shall be done well and proper, with time, effort and thought!
The lacquer pitted and turned nasty :/
But heres a few pics of the parts and a little bit of an update!

In other news, the SR is still the same, its actually back on the original alloys as i had a puncture last week, but its nice to be back on moon shoes again, as i can go anywhere with no worries :')

Next update should be filled with micra related goodies!
