My long promised blog

Finally an update I've been meaning to do for hours
I stripped it out and gave it all a clean and a respray where necessary

Well my seats were an absolute ass to get back in
One side of one seat shrank half inch. And a thread chewed itself out :confused:
Ah well they went back
No photo... too fuming with my seats. Anyway there in

Then it came to prepping my car for its new vinyl setup

Love having help... except he cleaned up with the scourer side of the sponge in places :( nice scratches/scuffs

Only had a dribble left in the bottle. So I did what I could... except now it looks like daisy the cow with patches of clean silver and aged/bronzed silver.
Brilliant...
There's tomorrow.. just need more T-Cut
 
Thanks mate. Hotel booked for next year :) forgot the event name :p

Nodiz is my favourite at the minute. Havent got to fork out the extra for ford edis system. And can run any coilpack.
Plua as a little bonus can turn your phone into a digi dash :D

That for the hillclimb over here mate? if so nice one il let you know when the regs come out :)

Not having to have an EDIS unit is making me lean towards it as well tbh but i dont have an android phone so on the other hand the megajolt is appealing.

I have a quote for megajolt with all new kit for £329 for a CG engine from triggerwheels so im still in two minds lol

Certainly is mate :) looking forward to it. Best get the ga16 cleaned up and those new fia seats bought :)

A digi dash is nice but not on a phone.. get pulled over for being on your phone.. "but officer its my dashboard" might not go well :p

Its similarly priced then really. But if the edis packs in your stuck for another. Getting harder to come by and expensive. That's why the nodiz is looking favourite still on common as muck scooby coilpacks :)

Awesome mate they are normally issued about the end of September! regarding insurance its £10 to be covered for the event if your competing in a car that's not insured for the road. (had megabusa's & all sorted flying around lol)

At least they're after jae :) it'll be insured for the road I'm driving it over. So hopefully no breakdowns
This will be an entertaining event then I take :D

This actually works too. Coilover springs on k10 shocks. So if your looking for an easy way to a lower stiffer ride then there's your answer. I'd recommend new shocks though

Got a fair bit more but I'll share all that another time. Haven't got photos of the work and no doubt photobucket will want paying soon for more pictures... new account required.
You can see in the last picture my axle is hanging funny. 3 out of 8 bolts are out. Rust isnt the issue the fact they're curved. New stainless bolts ordered

Ah well another kack day really... gave up midway through. Probably saw on the "what did you do to your micra today" thread Was told by enuo to stop bitching and crack on.... so I did a bit more

Anyways finally after two half assed days I got the rear beam off

Cleaned the whole inner arch ready to strengthen my strut turrets up and axle mounts
Brushed and sanded rear beam down.... couldn't remove the last two tie rods so sod em the bolts can stay and meet the grinder tomorrow

My cars been ready months.... but I find something else to do.... not good
So now I'm stuck with no rear beam because ive tie bars to make
 
I'd love to do that too.... but I'm just getting nothing done. Think I'll just go and help my lot tomorrow have a break from my k10 :)

I really need to update things here. I know I've put the tyres up and that's recent but things like my new bushes, brake bias valve and the finishing of the hydraulic handbrake guide... I'll gather my pictures and get this sorted ;)
