Misfire when the engine is warm.

Hi everyone , first post.
I have a 1999 registered 1.0 K11.
The car has just developed a misfire issue.
When cold everything is ok .
When the temp guage gets about halfway heavy application of the throttle produces a misfire which then clears over about 2500-3000 rpm.
The misfire is also present at idle, ie rev the engine , it drops back down to idle fine and then starts misfiring after a few seconds.
I have tried new plug leads and a different distributor.
The battery is also fairly new.
Your thoughts would be welcome.

New plugs themselves? Mine developed something similar, would miss-fire when warm, turned out the plugs were knackered and one was not tightened properly, so was leaking, changed plugs and torqued them up properly and * touches wood * it hasn't happened since.

Just an idea though, mines a 2002 model so has a different ignition system.

yeah possible spark plugs, whats it running, i run ngk cause i had simulare troubles with bosch on 3 coil pack engines
also the contracts in the dizzy cap are the clean or dirty (a white build up)
those would be the simple things
