Main beams not working on one side?

When I use the stalk to engage main beams - I get no beam on the drivers side! Normal headlights and sidelights are fine!
I've checked fuses
Replaced both bulbs
And the connectors were recently replaced and do not look melted at all!

Any ideas?

If you have changed all this it is almost certainly a wiring, earth fault if not faulty bulb

Yea got to be something with wires tho. Get pics of two connectors. We will see if we can help.....

I'll get a picture tommorow - it's too dark now!
Which of the three wires connecting to the bulb is the earth? Where would I check to see if there is an earthing problem?

EDIT: Decided to take them now anyway lol

check the fuse box, the connectors corrode. mine did it on the drivers side. probly get one from the scrappy pretty cheap

I should also mention that when I put the indicator stalk to the second headlight position which should be dipped headlights - I get the high beam indication on my dash
Here is sidelights only - DASH INDICATION OFF


Dipped headlights - DASH INDICATION ON


Main High Beam - DASH INDICATION ON (Compared to the previous picture (Dipped), the Right got brighter and Left actually became more dim!


"Headlight flashing" position where you just push the stalk forward - DASH INDICATION ON

On the Working Side, the High-Beam does seem brighter than just dipped on the same side - the picture does not do the lights justice for this!

On the non-working side, Dipped are actually BRIGHTER than high-beam!

I checked the fuse box - it seems to be perfectly fine inside and the fuses were fine - I replaced them both anyway with no luck!

Relay for the beam? when over heat you can get defective contact... worth a try, swap over the relay!!!

Probably a stupid question - but where is the relay for the beam located? Is it above the fuse box?
