knock sensor?

Quick question where any micras ( preferably k11) fitted with a knock sensor?

Im looking at running Mega-squirt and it would be beneficial if there's one built for purpose

Somone was telling me over on retro riders to use the saab apc knock sensor from a saab 900 86-93 model, he wired it up to a led on dash which would light up if knocking

Hmmm not sure if a Saab one would work, each engine will create a different frequency when knocking and the sensors have to be "tunned in" the specific frequency in order to work correctly, manufactures will create a knock sensor to match each engine range.

surely you can get one, I have been looking in to the options also.

So there must be some sort of lee way with knock sensors?
