K11 SRS Aribag steering wheel replacement. pls help.

I tried search function, but as we all know its rubbish and dont work properly as usual. Im pretty sure it has been covered before, but.

Is there a straight replacement steering wheel for my pre-facelif SRS airbag steering wheel from any other nissan models from that era? like primera-almera. I do wanna keep airbag but the steering wheel I got is knackered. I do like the steering from primera sport.

I would think it should still work as there is just two cables going to the airbag itself I don't know if the fitting is that same though.

you,ll probably find that the splines are the same but you might have to trim the cowling or mod the indicator self cancelling mech (but commendations on wanting to keep the aibag tho (Y))

I think I go to scrapyard and try what fits and what doesn't. I wanna keep the airbag cos its good thing, thats why its in every car nowadays. :blues:

But if you see the crash tests on YouTube I don't think the airbag alone will help that much

Primera P11 and facelift P11 steering wheels and airbags fit. Use the Primera airbag though, dunno if the K11 one fits the P11 wheel. Same connections at the back too.
Just remember you need tamperproof torx bits to remove the airbag and make sure the ignition is off.
