k11 micra a simple turbo set up please any one ?

i am new to this forum and would like to ask if anyone knows what is most modifications that can be done on a k11 1.0 r reg ?

i have read many threads regarding turbo charging,supercharging,sr20,sr20det. i just need to get my little micra to shift a bit more without breaking the bank and most of all my engine lol

can the stock internals be changed from another nissan engine ???
 
If you want it to shift a bit more without breaking the bank. Put in a 1.3.

A good turbo conversion will cost a lot. People do say stani has done something good for cheap. But it still cost him quite a lot, and he keeps blowing up motors.
 
hi, looks like turbo set up is out the window, ive managed to buy another complete micra 1.3 r reg with low mileage, is it a staright swap ?
 
And Stani knows how to work on a car. It is a straight swap but that doesnt mean its easy. Whats wrong with the car its in?
 
basically, i have 2 3 door k11 in the same colour, 1 with all the extras ie, elecy windows, sunroof and one bog standard, i would like to tune the 1.0 micra and not the 1.3 due to insurance purposes.

does anyone know if the internal parts are the same but just different length rods on the 2 engines ?
 
mate, do the 1300, your wasting you time with the cg10, they can be nippy, but the 1300z are alot quicker, you can use the cams from the cg13 in the cg10, but id advise building up the 1300 , use the 1 litre for a run about, build the 1.3 up in the drive, then when its built the insurance will drop a bit and you can get rid of the 1 liter and have a fast 1.3 that youve built up.
but thats just my oppion. :D

If you can't run around in 1.3 for insurance reasons. I wouldnt bother tuning the 1.0. A tuned 1.0 will cost more to insure then a standard 1.3.
