The stereo earths thru the bracket or aerial on the K11 depending on what type of stereo you have fitted.
I just fitted a Pioneer DEH-4300ub with just an iso connector and standard aerial.
Its working fine. I have no idea what that extension thing was and seemed like it was joined onto a blue remote wire aswell.

I found out a bit of info on it.
Its a amplified aerial adaptor.

It did not make any difference on the micra.
Infact it probs made the signal worse.
Its alot better with the new cd player.
