how to tensioning drivebelt

Hi,
I recently changed my drivebelts and wonder if i adjust correctly the tension.
if I understand, the tension should be checked or is the red arrows?

I check the tension or is the blue arrows because it is easier to access, are good?

u check the amount of belt deflection via the longest exposed side of the belt between pulleys

So, down it doesn't good? but is the longest exposed side of the belt between pulleys.
Can you show me on the picture?

dont worry too much about the waterpump belt niko, here,s how slack mine is

but the alternator belt needs to be pretty tight tho

which one is ur setup? ...
actually I'll just mark on the sheet where to check. be sure to turn the engine 1rev after adjust the tensioner to even the tension and then recheck the deflection.

or should we measure the tension?
on the top I don't have access.

But below I accede easily and ample space between the pulleys.

I think i have so much tight the alternator belt because I hear a slight hiss when the engine is cold or maybe I'm paranoid
