How to REALLY get rid of bump strips...

Follow these easy steps:

Firstly you will need:
Electric Drill,
Flat screwdriver/chisel,
Caramel wheel (can be found at most car shops, probably. It's a round rubber disk which fits into an electric drill)

1> Pull the bump strips off, if they don't come off easily, get a carrier bag and wrap it around a chisel or screwdriver and prise the bump strip away from the car
2>Attach the caramel wheel to your electric drill (get a chuck key, open the slot, put the caramel wheel into the drill and lock with chuck key)
3> Use the side of the wheel and rub it up and down the glue strips (obviously while your finger is pressing the trigger down on the drill)
4>It will take you about 5 minutes to do one side.

I did one side using petrol, a rag, and an ice scraper and it took me 2 and a half hours. I did the other in the way I have writeen above and it took 5 minutes and won't damage your paintwork like any other method might.

I'll post some pictures soon.

i used this exact method when i did mine aswell, unfortunatly the caramel wheel had almost run out and the metal was coming through, so it carved up half my door, still looks alright though.
