HELP NEEDED ! Burning Smell.

Hi there Guys !

Okay, so i was driving my car for about 5 minutes,

I then noticed a burning smell, dont know where from though !

Its filling up the cabin and seems to be originating from the battery side of a 1993 L micra K11.

Is there any cause to this?

And what do you think it is? Any way to sort it !

have you checked for leaking coolant?

Coolant leak could be anywhere in the coolant system though.

And headlight connections= behind headlights

Checked the fuses , Connectors & the coolant, all are fine and dandy !

Just to find the cause :/ could it be a burnt clutch? mum was driving it as the smell originated, 1st timne driving it

but car still drives :/

Burning clutch is kinda a distinct smell.

Is it likely to make the engine warmer ? because ever since the engine gets warm . . . Very quick

Do you mean hotter than it should normally be? Im not sure.

once in a while i get that catalystics burning smell
and it smells like no other smell around

Is the car modified atall? If it has Heat wrap on the exhaust system they tend to smell for about a month
