Head Light Casing 'Scrape"

is there anyway to polish/shine the inside of the head light casing to make them more see through, and to give it a better look...if you know what i mean.
i think there was a post about this, but cant find it for the life of me, i think it was something bought off ebay

overtime light do get stained and burnt with the light that is emitted, to really get them clean you need to remove them from the car then bake them in the oven until the glue goes soft. Once you take the light apart give them a good clean with soap and water then put back together.

Alternatively a new set will set you back £50
