Grit scraping the window from the inside

Is there any way of cleaning the window mechanism without taking the apart?

When i open and close my window i hear this horrible slight glass-scratching sound and it is now noticebly making small lines.

this is kinda common on K11s i don't think it is grit that is doing it i think there is something wrong with the mech, but the best thing is to take it all apart and find the source

i got it on mine too!

I get that too, last weekend i stripped my doors and gave the felt stuff that the window passes up through a really good clean but it's still doing it and when the glass is down in the door, there's nothing anywhere near the glass that could be scratching it :S

could be the rim/edges of the glass when it slides?
