Door card refit issue - Window rubber/felt

Hi all

I am having an odd issue which is probably somehting daft but hoping someone can shed some light on it. I had to take the door card off my 2001 3dr Micra. On refitting it for some reason when you wind the window down it drags the rubber down and folds up on the top of the door card rather than just letting the glass slide down.

I have tried taking it off and on so may times and cannot see that it could be fitted wrong as everything else lines up and there isnt even multiple channels to fit the top piece in.

Any suggestions?

spray abit of cockpit shine stuff, or mr sheen (silicon based products,) onto the inside of the rubber were it touches the glass when the window is down , it will free it up abit, works aswell on seatbelts if the struggle to recoil ,
it should reduce the friction between the rubber and glass,
