Gearbox Rattle?

Rattles like crazy at idle when the fan kicks in and the revs drop for a second?

Bearing?Would like to get this sorted myself for the experience?

Not the release bearing Its new.I'm thinking a bearing in the box?

Ah.

My layshaft bearing were all shot aswell, not so much rattly but whiney?

Specially when setting off in first!

You have a Nismo Clutch, mine was showing horrific signs of wear when I went to change it. The floating plate within it was so worn I couldn't believe it so could be that.

What do you reckon the best replacement for the plate is?I agree with you that its that

I just use a CG13 friction plate with the nismo cover, its much much nicer.
