Gearbox Oil

I am trying to top up the gearbox oil, I understand that the air box needs to be removed but I cant get it off. I have removed a bolt and loosened a clip, is there anything elce? Also will I easely be able to find the gearbox filler when it is off.

unzip the inlet pipe from the airbox
unbolt the airbox from the support bracket with 10mm socket
loosen the big jubilee clip under the airbox thats holding it on the throttle body with philips head
squeeze the L-breather pipe clips with pliers to loosen the pipe off
rock the airbox up off the TB

reach down and unscrew the speedo cable from the gearbox by hand
unbolt the speedo pickup from gearbox with 10mm socket
knock the speedo pickup anti-clock by 20deg to expose a lip that the bolt was secured to, u can then grab the lip and pull/twist the unit out the gearbox
check level and fill it till the speedo pinion will be submerged

how often do we have to change that oil and what type does it need?
and how many litres?:p

only need to change it if the oil coming out is real dirty or if the gearbox develops signs of wear like whirring, whining

i used 80w castrol manual gearbox oil from halfrauds, 3ltrs of it
