Gear box info required

I have a facelift 1 litre gearbox and am wondering what connector does what.
I have a blue connector coming out facing the nsf wheel and a black one facing the osf wheel. One of these I'm guessing the blue will be for the reverse light but what does the other do. The reason I ask is I have nothing plugged in to either?

its for the idle control input i guess mate

Ok so may effect the car settling at idle.

Which would make sense as it hunts a little from time to time
