got a mate with a 1999 1.0 micra the car wont start at all done the ecu bit it flashes 14 flashes plus 1 flash 14 flashes plus 5 flashes and 14 flashes plus 6 flashes any ideas
fault codes none runner

» CMF Memberthe micra has nats and the chip was taped to a spare key which has fell off and been lost the thing is though the car could be started and drove for awhile on the spare without chip is it possible for the ecu to reconise thers no chip and gradually the car gives up the ghost i also reset the fault codes and still a no starter i definately reckon because the chip has been lost this is the fault

» CMF Memberi got a guy coming round to programme me a key to the car in about an hour i hope it works its costing me mate 80 quid frank will i need to reset the ecu before the new key takes affect mate

» CMF Memberbut do you think it could it could be a non starter because the chip has been lost it defo has nats and def no chip the original key has no fob it was taped to a duplicate key
