Last weekend my pa gave me his old '98 1.0 Twister as he has just bought a newer Almera and the dealer laughed when he offered the Micra as P/X!
As my other motor is a big ol' 3.2 litre Mitsu Shogun which does about 26 to the gallon and costs me about £300 a month in diesel, the Micra is a godsend as a little commuter for me!
So far I have replaced the head unit with a bluetooth/usb/mp3 jobbie (and spliced in a proper earth having read a couple of threads on here) and installed a ciggie lighter so I can run my phone charger/sat nav (why have an ashtray but no lighter??!??).
Things on my to do list:
Replace the front speakers
Get hold of a parcel shelf with factory speakers (so I don't have to muck about and cut up the factory wiring)
Then replace the rear speakers
Get PAS installed
Fit an alarm (if it will upgrade me to remote central locking)
Replace the ignition barrel / ignition switch as it's getting very annoying having to hold the thing together just to get her started every time!
