what swaps is there available.. ive heard about the SR20DE and a 1.6 has anybody got anyidea of how much of a job the SR20DE is ??

Yep, the main two to choose from are the SR20DE and GA16DE. The SR20 is the engine swap of choice due to it's high output and relatively low weight. There are a number of threads detailing member's experiences performing the engine swap, I suggest you have a look at these by running off a search. Basic answer is that it takes quite a lot of time and money - but the results are well worth it!

If you want to fit a 2.0 it can be done for less than 1000..

This will give your car radical power..

However you REALLY need to uprate the suspension and brakes and do some strengthening to fully benefit from it..

My 2.0 project has taken as long as it has due to the level of body modifications the car has.. the engine swap was relativly easy..
