Need to squeeze a few ponies out of the super, only mods are full exhaust and induction kit, what's am I looking in terms of bhp per pound and what's the best. Budget about a grand.

1.0 pistons, 5 to 10 hp gain (dependent on other mods)
better inlet cam, 5 to 10 hp gain (ditto)
better exh cam 5 hp gain

Is it better to go for the 1.0 pistons in the 1.3 or go for the newer coil pack engine with more cc

i think with breathing mods exhaust set up then remap the standard eng gets upto or close 100 bhp

I would have thought that to be enough. £200 on the head the same on some cams and a set of piston and there's still change

Can't use them got a set of bike carb and manifold here but the rules will only let you run two chokes

If I was to gas flow the head a set of cams either a 1275 with 1.0 pistons or a 1.4 bottom end running a 50mm throttle and full exhaust. Lightened and balanced what bhp could I expect also what the save rev limit

100 hp and 7500 rpm ?

Would more revs help if so what's needed or is it the throttle body that's the limiting factor if so has anyone fitted a twin throttle body

you could go for a 1.0 coilpack block and pistons and a 1.4 crank and rods :wasntme:
(todays purchases :grinning: i,ll need to fit 2 headgaskets tho, the pistons stick out the top of the block )

only about 1 mm tho :grinning: and this cga engine has shimless buckets and a longer valve stem
